Abstract

This study focuses on a comparative analysis of phonetic errors in Chinese language education, specifically tonal variations in the words ‘一’ (yī) and ‘不’ (bù), between Mandarin Chinese learners and ChatGPT. The research aims to assess the pronunciation errors made by learners, evaluate ChatGPT’s ability to recognize and correct these errors, and explore the implications for language education and the integration of AI-driven language learning tools.
